History

Mal’s upbringing was marked by an unusual family dynamic. That is what set him apart from the common experience of the Viera, who typically grew up in large families with many siblings. Tragically, his family was brutally taken from him, by a rogue group of Miqo'te. This all came to be when he was just an infant. This heartbreaking loss is what led to him being discovered and lovingly raised, by a small Hyur family in the Dravanian Hinterlands. In this nurturing environment, Mal learned to gather herbs. This is a skill that allowed him to connect with his surroundings, using his keen sense of smell. He finds joy in collecting unique items, during his outings. He often shares his discoveries with those around him, showcasing his vibrant spirit.In his early adulthood, Mal showed an interest in learning healing magic. He would practice daily on his own when he went out. However, due to an unfortunate accident while practicing his spells, he blinded himself with the vibrant lights of the magic, and due to his inability to harness the aether. Despite his Viera heritage, Mal faces challenges in embracing certain traits typically associated with his kind. Particularly his struggle to sense danger, which can be quite daunting.His friendly nature, nurtured by his Hyur family, enables him to approach strangers with openness and warmth. However, this same quality leaves him vulnerable to being easily influenced by others. Despite his past, Mal remains committed to seeing the good in people. Which speaks to his hopeful, and resilient character.

Behind the character

Greetings!
I am the person behind the screen, that controls Malicious. I am a visually impaired person who has been doing RP and ERP for over 10 years now. I personally prefer dark themes, but also enjoy trying out other styles and am open to trying new things. I am online most of the day, especially in the evenings. I also enjoy doing savage, extreme content, and character-building. So you won’t always catch me doing RP. If you do manage to see me, you can feel free to ask if I'm available, and I'm sure we can work out a time!

A bit more about my RP style:

  • I strongly prefer my partners to be 18+, preferably 21+

  • I strongly lean towards para/multi-para Rp.

  • I try to be timely in my responses, of course, due to the general length of my replies they will likely take a moment to type out.

  • I will generally match the length of my partner's replies to keep it even.

  • I am very open and prefer when my partners have an idea of what they are looking to have happen in a scene and would like to hear their ideas.

  • I will Always ask to confirm my partner is, at a minimum, over 18 y/o.

  • *I will always go over both (or all, if more than 2 are involved) parties' soft/hard boundaries to establish what is off-table. This is non-negotiable for me, to keep the room a safe space.
